Fees and Funding

Tuition fees for Postgraduate research degrees in Food Science and Nutrition can be found here

If you are to be a self-supporting student, you may pay your fees in two instalments. The first instalment is payable at registration.

Students who are supported by their governments, employers, or other sponsors should bring with them a letter from their sponsor addressed to the University confirming that the fees will be paid directly. Sponsors cannot pay by instalments.

The School often has a number of funded studentships throughout the year, which often cover full or partial payment of tuition fees and provide the candidate with a tax free stipend per annum.

The Food Science and Nutrition School Research Scholarships are now available for use with named projects with entry in early 2017.

Please contact supervisors in your relevant area of interest to find out about other possible current studentships.

In addition to the funded studentships on offer, the University also has a number of competitive scholarship opportunities available for both UK/EU and international students which could help towards the cost of tuition fees for self-funded students. For further information visit the University's scholarships website.
