Weetwood Hall Hotel The first international conference on Food Oral Processing - Physics, Physiology, and Psychology of Eating will be held at Weetwood Hall, University of Leeds.

Set within nine acres of parkland estate, Weetwood Hall is the largest and most flexible four-star conference centre and hotel in the North of England. It combines the original features of the 17th century Manor House with "state of art" technology in the purpose built 37 room conference centre.

Weetwood Hall offers 106 en-suite bedrooms and a selection of dining options either the Woodlands Restaurant, the contemporary styled Brasserie or the informal Stable Pub located in an original cobbled Courtyard.

Within walking distance to is Headingley, a bustling suburb which offer choices of superb pubs, cafes, restaurants, and shops. The historical Cottage Road cinema sits in between Weetwood Hall and Headingley centre, offering a very different film experience. Nearby Meanwood Park and Golden Acre Park could be a good place for a short peaceful walk.

Leeds is one of the most vibrant UK cities and has a thriving commercial centre. Historic York and the spa town of Harrogate are only a short driving distance away.

For a little further exploration, the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors, the two main national parks, are ideal places for visiting in July.
